Don't make me laugh. I love these low-carbers that think they know everything. NOT! Muscle, indeed. I wouldn't waste my time explaining insulin, blood glucose or anything else. Waste of time on you lot. Low carbing is for couch potatoes. Try bodybuilding or doing any athletic program on low to no carbs. I too believe in a big, huge breakfast. However, I wouldn't "go back" to eating any other way. The King, Prince, Pauper eating principal is perfectly fine for long term success. Just add more calories or a snack or two to the regime. Thanks for the post.

Re: danieltenner.com — How to nap

Great article very helpful to someone exploring the benefits of napping

Re: danieltenner.com — How to get a merchant account

Was wondering about your post about Merchant Account

PCI Compliance. REM sleep is what you are trying to avoid, sleep has 5 stages: 1, 2, deep sleep stage 3 and 4 and fimally REM sleep that is stage 5.Your body rests the most during deep sleep that is stages 3 and 4. With 20 minute naps your trying to only go into deep sleep and not enter REM sleep (the stage where dreaming happens the most). As a side note scientists still don't know what REM sleep is for...

Re: danieltenner.com — How to nap

Have you seen this article? http://www.boston.com/bosto...

Re: danieltenner.com — How to nap

Hard to imagine my life without the occasional 20 minute nap, and I can thank my reading of Booker T. Washington for it oddly enough! He introduced the idea at some point when I was in college, and I practiced a 20 minute nap in college which was very effective. Although I only did it once a day, I can see how it would benefit others to do it more than once a day. Obviously others have mentioned Polyphasic Sleep and Steve Pavlina does a great article it. However this app does not specifically track bf %, so I have to put it in the 'notes' field. Other apps that I tried will not do the job.

Because I am a programmer, I built a small site that does this job for me. It provides the graph you mentioned too, so hopefully it fits well with your method ;-)

Then I extended it a bit, so it can now keep track of weight + bf % for several users. I have it free for everyone to use.

I would appreciate if you can give it a look. Here is the link : http://weight-tracker.org
Not impressive IMO, but will do the job.

I have set up a testing account, from which you can see how it looks like without inputting your data. The details are :
username : test
password : test

Regards,
Sakis

Re: danieltenner.com — How to get a merchant account

Do you offer Recurring Payments and need to be PCI compliant and don’t have the time or money to do so? The SterlingCard Vault limits your responsibility for securing your customer’s account information and is a complement to our Recurring Payment module that allows you the ability to securely bill your customers for variable amounts at variable times using electronic checks, credit cards or debit cards for products or services whenever a payment is due - This is accomplished by utilizing cloud technology where the data is stored on a secure server in the cloud reducing technology, infrastructure, data storage costs and security risks by storing customers’ account information Anyone can sell Payment Processing, but at SterlingCard we take it a step further by Establishing and Building Great Relationships along the way! Please contact me @ bwhyte@sterlingcardps.com for more details Have a great day

Re: danieltenner.com — How to nap

Nice article Daniel, not sure if you have seen this one by Dustin Curtis but it is interesting and of the same ilk

http://www.dustincurtis.com...

Re: danieltenner.com — How to get a merchant account

Not much its pretty simple if you need one i got my account at Merchantech they beat my old processing companies rates by 130 bucks a month. I' a undergraduate college student in Taiwan.I have a concept of a social networking website. It is about sharing ideas with others, I thing it is the social network between a business-oriented social networking site and a normal social networking site.It is called " Foundation", which a person who joins can creat a page of his own and become a "FOUNDER" of a project. It works like this: when a person post his idea on what is so called "IDEA BULLETIN"on his personal page, which is much like the "WALL"on facebook. other people could give suggestion to him. If the one who post the the ideas like the suggestion given, he can invite that person in to "PROJECT",which he'll be given a 100MB space with a privat code that only the person who is in the project can gain access, and the person who give the suggestion could chose to "ACCECPT" or "REFUSE". Anyway, the main purposes of this site is to let people share ideas and find their partners for the project. It is a little bit like a busniess social net working site but it does not target on specific types of groups of people. And the problem is I'm not major in science or technology,(I'm major in Law and knew a little bit of finacing, sound silly right, for a person who wanted to start networking busniess?) so my background in application programming is close to zero, so I'm hoping that you could give me some suggestions(whether to fined some one to write it for me or learn to program myself) . For more details you can contact me through E-Mail：jasona127@yahoo.com.tw or MSN : garmido@livemail.tw

Re: danieltenner.com — Taking a stand

I would like to add a point to the argument; and that is that 'freedom of speech' is a guaranteed right given to us by our governments, and it is there to keep the governments from throwing us in jail for saying what is on our mind, short of government overthrow and sedition. Since FaceBook is a private company, and can allow and/or remove groups as FB sees fit, people think that the removal of a group is infringing on the freedom of speech, which the removal is not. If FB were to cave into government pressure to remove a group, then that situation would be infringment on free speech.

Re: danieltenner.com — The Death of the Web?

No, wrong.

Re: danieltenner.com — How to lose weight

Hey Daniel,

congrats on being honest and do a good job with a logical diet. Because I loved the way you eat a good breakfast, light lunch and the no dinner thing. Btw I'm from Turkey, I started to apply this on myself, though im kinda obese my bmi is slightly more than 30 which counts as an obese right?(though it changed now i guess it's like 29 or sth, dunno the exact thing) So yeah I will let you know about the results, and see if it works for an obese person as well.

I did an addition though, I eat something at dinner(like an apple, or a diet biscuit or sth, a 60-100 calorie thing) because from my diet experience I know that it stops your stomach (which ought to work all the time) and your metabolism slows down as a consequence. Yea so I eat some fruit at the evening. You told you eat fruit stimes, too, though.
Atkins etc. are rubbish, I agree with you on that btw, and from here I say, don't do the atkins or any other extreme diets for anyone!!

Cheers,

Re: danieltenner.com — How to make your application viral

Daniel,

Really great post. If you run a couple miles in the morning, you know that every calorie you eat "undos" that calorie loss. If I eat, say, a soda or two, it's like I didn't run at all. I hate that feeling, because I worked, hard, when I was running, and I don't want it to go for naught.

TL;DR: Easier to avoid useless calories when you shed calories in the morning.
